Get More Familiar With Microsoft Products!

The University of Nebraska (NU) System will host several Microsoft Application Training Sessions on campus in October. Each session will be held in Criss Library (room 231).

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own device, or something to take notes with.

• UNO Overview Session on Navigating Microsoft 365 Applications 
• UNO SharePoint Overview Training 
• UNO OneDrive Overview Training 
• UNO Teams Overview Training

UNO Overview Session on Navigating Microsoft 365 Applications

This is an in-person training designed to learn more about navigating Microsoft 365 Applications in the Nebraska tenant. All training sessions offered will cover the same topics including a brief description of SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams along with some best practices for sharing files. There will also be time for Q&A!  

• Thursday, Oct. 16:  9 to 10 A.M. or 1 to 2 P.M.
• Friday, Oct. 17:  11 A.M. to Noon or 3 to 4 P.M.
• Monday, Oct. 20:  11 A.M. to Noon or 3 to 4 P.M.
• Tuesday, Oct. 21:  9 A.M. to 10 A.M. or 1 to 2 P.M.

UNO SharePoint Overview Training

This is an in-person training designed for staff to learn more about helpful tips and tricks for using SharePoint. Both training sessions offered will cover the same topics including Microsoft Learning Pathways, different ways to set up Document Libraries, and how to manage members as a site owner. There will also be time for Q&A! 

• Thursday, Oct. 16:  11 A.M. to Noon
• Friday, Oct. 17:  9 to 10 A.M.
• Monday, Oct. 20:  1 to 2 P.M.
• Tuesday, Oct. 21:  3 to 4 P.M.

UNO OneDrive Overview Training

This is an in-person training designed for staff to learn more about helpful tips and tricks for using their own personal OneDrive. Only one training session will be offered covering navigating and OneDrive icons. There will also be time for Q&A! 

• Friday, Oct. 17:  1 to 1:45 P.M.
• Tuesday, Oct. 21:  11 to 11:45 A.M.

UNO Teams Overview Training

This is an in-person training designed for staff to learn more about helpful tips and tricks for using Teams. Only one training session will be offered covering the basics of setting up standard and private channels. There will also be time for Q&A!
