UNO Capitol Experience Day

Hosted by Civic Nebraska & UNO Volunteer and Civic Engagement Programs

UNO Students are invited to join us for a unique opportunity to explore civic engagement in action at the Nebraska State Capitol! UNO students will:

• Tour the historic Capitol building
• Enjoy lunch on the lawn
• Learn about citizen activism and ways to make your voice heard
• Write letters to your senators about issues that matter to you—and personally deliver them to their offices
• Engage directly with an official

Event Details:

• Date & Time: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM (includes transportation time to and from UNO)
• Transportation: Bus provided by UNO (all participants are required to ride with the group)
• Food: Lunch and snacks provided
• Spots Available: 45 students — reserve your spot early!
