The UNO Writing Center will be hosting the Creative Writing Series, interactive workshops which will focus on different writing topics. Available to students, faculty and staff from across all campus divisions, these workshops can be useful for writers across genres, whether they are literary or academic writers.  Participants will learn more about how to use descriptive writing effectively by creating clear descriptions of people, places, or things, and then practice with their own writing and share with peers. There will be three events in the Creative Writing Series in Fall ‘22 on 10/20, 11/3, and 11/17, respectively about writing on place, people, and the self.
