On Thursday, April 10, at 6:00pm Frances Reyes will perform a graduate piano recital at the
Strauss Performing Arts Center on the University of Nebraska at Omaha campus. Ms. Reyes will
perform works by Bach, Mozart, Liszt, Poulenc, and Espino. The performance will be live-
streamed on the School of Music YouTube channel.

Frances Reyes is a classically trained Filipino pianist. In 2022 she graduated magna cum laude
and class valedictorian from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano
Performance. In the same year, she was the recipient of the Dr. Adolfo B. Bellosillo Award and
the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence. She also holds an Associate degree in Music from
the same university and a Certificate of Piano Performance from St. Scholastica’s College
Manila. She initially studied piano under Prof. Marian De Vera and had further training with
Prof. Augusto Espino. She is currently a graduate student in the University of Nebraska at
Omaha where she is pursuing a Masters degree in Piano Performance under Dr. Kristín Jónína
Taylor. She has years of experience in performing, teaching piano, and organizing music-related
events.
