Explores the themes of Solace in Painting: Reflecting on a Tumultuous Century — UNO Art Gallery through October 24th.

Speakers include award winning artists, curators, editor and photojournalist:

• Chloe Coleman is a Pulitzer-prize winning senior photo editor with the Washington Post. 
• Dr. Fletcher Coleman is a specialist on the art historiography and religious arts of China at the University of Texas at Arlington. Curator of Solace in Painting.
• Louie Palu, award-winning photojournalist and documentarian as featured by National Geographic and The Washington Post, and the National Gallery of Art. 
• Ann Phong, artist and conflict survivor whose work is featured in the exhibition. 
• Professor Jave Yoshimoto is an artist and educator at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and curator of Recovery, currently on view in the Osborne Gallery in the Criss Library at UNO.
