The Silent Book Club of Omaha (SBCO) is at Criss Library on Sunday, September 22, from 1-3pm to kick off National Banned Books Week (Sept 22 - Sept 28)!

 

Come to the library to read with fellow book lovers from all over Omaha. It’s the best book club: there are no assigned readings – you just read what you bring! Reading for classes counts, but we’ll have options available for you to take a break from your studies, too.

 

Here’s how it works:

  • First 30 minutes: Check-in when you arrive. Socialize, meet new people, find a spot, and get comfortable. Bring your own food and drink or buy something at Starbucks.
  • 1 hour of silent reading
  • Final 30 minutes: Socialize, read, and goodbyes

 

The registration link opens on September 3 at 7pm; look for a link on Facebook or Instagram.
