The Silent Book Club of Omaha (SBCO) is at Criss Library on Saturday, April 12, from 1-3pm in honor of National Library Week.

Come to the library to read with fellow book lovers from all over Omaha. It’s the best book club: there are no assigned readings – you just read what you bring!

Here’s how it works:

  • First 30 minutes: Socialize, meet new people, find a spot, and get comfortable. Bring your own snacks and drinks!
  • 1 hour of silent reading
  • Final 30 minutes: Announcements, more socializing and book talking, and goodbyes.

It’s free and there’s plenty of space at the library. If you are bringing kids, they need to be able to sit and read silently for the hour, and must have an adult with them at all times. Tell us you’re coming by signing up on the SBCO list beginning April 1; look for a link on Facebook or Instagram.
