In this panel, members of the Somali, Sudanese, and Congolese refugee communities in Omaha, Nebraska, will share their perspectives and personal stories. The discussion will offer a comprehensive look at these communities, highlighting their rich cultural traditions and the ways they contribute to the local fabric. Panelists will also shaire stories of seeking refuge, reflecting the challenges and resilience of those who have rebuilt their lives in Nebraska.

 

This event aims to foster understanding, celebrate cultural richness, and create space for meaningful conversations about the experiences of refugees in Nebraska. Lunch provided.
