Join us for a Brown Bag at the Community Engagement Center, where Dr. Ashlee Dauphinais Civitello examines the idea of reciprocity as a fundamental component of human subjects research. Through a case study involving language in public space in Omaha, she explores a methodological toolkit for engaging with community partners and research participants that places social justice at the core. At the end it offers avenues for application to research, pedagogy, and community engagement.
