She has published fiction, nonfiction, and poetry and her work has received awards including 'best novel of the year' for Ummath, which is available in English from HarperCollins. Two of her latest works will soon be published in English as well.
This event is in conjunction with "Entangled Memories of Violence: Rise and Heal," and exhibit of Sharmila's writing and activism currently in UNO Criss Library. Learn more about the literary exhibition here:
