Join us for Preserving Your History with the Great Plains Black History Museum and Criss Library's Archives and Special Collections. Community members are invited to bring items from their personal and family archives such as photographs, correspondence, and documents for digitization. Advance registration is requested.

You are invited to bring your most precious items for digitization. The number of items that can be scanned may be limited due to number of registrations. Participants will receive a digital copy of their scanned materials while also donating a copy to the Museum. Archivists will be available to offer advice on storage and preservation for your personal archives.

A small pop-up display of material from the archives will be on display.

Preserving Your History is part of Access to the Archives of the Great Plains Black History Museum, a joint grant project of the Great Plains Black History Museum and Criss Library supported by the National Archives' National Historical Publications and Records Commission.
