Do you have a box, cabinet, computer, or basement full of your personal or family archives? This workshop will provide basic tools and guidance to better care for and protect your documents, photos, and scrapbooks. Archivist Amy Schindler will cover topics such as storage conditions and the basics of caring for various formats to ensure your treasures are preserved and accessible far into the future. Attendees will leave the session with practical ideas in hand and resources for further information. Attendees may choose to bring one item from their personal archives for a consultation.

The workshop is free and open to the public. Advance registration is not required. RSVP online or to Amy Schindler by email at acschindler@unomaha.edu or by phone at 402.554.6046.
