Campus Recreation and Wellness is excited to share that this Tuesday, October 29th, the Rec Center will host a “Pink Out” to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Here’s what to expect:
🌸 Wear Pink: We encourage all members and guests to wear pink when visiting the Rec that day.

🎗 Faculty & Staff Participation:

  • Faculty and staff can gain free access to the Recreation Center for the day by either:
    • Donating to a breast cancer cause of their choice and showing the receipt to the front desk, or
    • Purchasing a ribbon from the Public Health Student Association in H&K. All donations go to Hope Lodge. PHSA will be hosting a dinner at the Hope Lodge, a living facility for cancer patients and their caregivers while they receive care in Omaha. Hope Lodge members must provide all their meals, so to take a load off their backs, PHSA wants to step in and provide a meal in November.

This is a great opportunity to come together, show support, and promote wellness for a meaningful cause. Thank you in advance for helping spread the word and making this event successful!
