About the Event

The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice will be hosting a panel discussion with Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer, author of the book "Synergy of Influence, Leadership, Law Enforcement, and the Media." Schmaderer is also a UNO alum.

This is a FREE event and will take place at UNO's Thompson Alumni Center, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 5:30 – 7:30 P.M. 

The Panel

Chief Schmaderer will be joined on the panel by:

• Justin Nix, Ph.D., UNO, School of Criminology and Criminal Justice

• Adam Tyma, Ph.D., UNO, School of Communication
• Waverle Monroe, Anchor and Reporter KETV Channel 7 and
• Weysan Dun, Retired FBI Special Agent and Commissioner of the Nebraska Crime Commission (modearator)
