Panelists: Dr. Bradford P. Wilson, Utah Valley State University; Dr. Carson Holloway, UNO Department of Political Science; Dr. Mark Scherer, UNO Department of History
Dr. Mark Scherer of UNO’s Department of History will moderate a discussion with Dr. Bradford P. Wilson and Dr. Carson Holloway about their two-volume collection of The Political Writings of George Washington. The conversation will cover the challenges Washington faced in guiding the nation to independence and through the process of establishing and operating a new government, as well as the relevance of Washington’s thought and leadership to the challenges America faces today. The discussion will include questions for Drs. Wilson and Holloway from Dr. Scherer, as well as questions from the audience.
