Join panelists from NCITE, the Canadian Network for Research on Security, Extremism and Society (CANSES), and the U.K.-based Centre for Research and Evidence on Security Threats (CREST) for a trilateral webinar to provide early visibility into emerging NVE research agendas.

Nihilistic violent extremism (NVE) is an evolving threat characterized by decentralized, transnational networks who promote societal collapse through indiscriminate violence, coercive tactics, and the targeted exploitation of vulnerable youth.

Unlike traditional ideologically driven movements, NVE constitutes a hybridized threat that converges violent extremism, organized cybercrime, and sextortion thereby creating complex, cross-sector challenges for law enforcement, educators, and communities worldwide.

The webinar seeks to identify where practitioner insight is critical and outline how engagement, feedback, and operational perspectives from practitioners and other end-users can meaningfully strengthen ongoing work.
