This event is a collaboration between the UNO American Multicultural Student Agency and the Nebraska Extension in Douglas-Sarpy Counties. The Indigenous Foods Workshop will not only celebrate Native American Heritage Month but also feature two indigenous leaders who will share the cultural significance and history of bison. Finally, we will conclude with a culinary experience, learning how to make a traditional Native American food recipe.
