UNO students are invited to make a difference in their community through 60 Minutes of Service. May's 60 minutes of service will center around self care for yourself and our community leading up to finals week, because "Self Care is Service"!

Join us during De-Stress Fest/Week to help support our community and those affected by the tornadoes across Nebraska by collecting necessary items for individuals and their families. There will be two opportunities to get involved:

  • On May 9 from 12pm- 1pm in the Criss Library First Floor we will be writing words of encouragement, empowerment, and self-care to both those impacted by the storms and volunteers as they navigate through the days and months ahead. Lunch will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
  • Additionally, we will be collecting donation items from May 6th – May 17th for the Heartland Hope Mission to provide to those impacted by the tornadoes. Please click here for more information.
