Does a formal dinner intimidate you? Do you know which fork to use or which way to pass the salt and pepper? Do you understand why first impressions are so important? Etiquette expert Melanie Krings will lead this immersive experience, teaching you skills for interacting with others when food and drink are involved so you can focus on the most important things – creating a positive impression, building a strong professional reputation, and expanding your professional network.
About the Presenter
Melanie Krings has expertise in a broad range of etiquette topics including dining, networking, communication, personal brand, etc. She has facilitated professional etiquette presentations and dinners for thousands of students and professionals, including higher education and corporate clients such as UNO, Creighton University, UNL, Mercy High School, Mutual of Omaha Insurance, ConAgra and Northwestern Mutual. Krings is the Chief Marketing and Growth Officer at Dvorak Law Group and a member of the UNO Alumni Association Board of Directors. She holds an MBA, a BS in Marketing and Management and a BS in Journalism, all from UNO.
