Celebrate Juneteenth with the UNO Department of Black Studies and the Office of Student Leadership, Involvement, and Inclusion (SLII)!. Juneteenth is an important milestone in the African-American community, as it represents the emancipation of African Americans enslaved in the United States.

Sign up to walk in the parade on June 15 —  line up at 9 A.M. and the parade starts at 10 A.M. Don’t miss your chance to play a major role in one of Omaha's largest celebrations! For participating in the parade, you'll receive a free t-shirt!
