About the presenters:
Viktoria Hackbarth is a Senior Lecturer of Spanish at Boston University’s Department of Romance Studies. Her interests lie in the communicative language teaching approach, teaching through technology, multiculturalism, and diversity in the classroom. Dr. Hackbarth’s other areas of interests include twentieth century Spanish literature, Spanish women authors, and contemporary Spanish cinema.
Azlin Perdomo is a Lecturer in Spanish at Boston University’s Department of Romance Studies. She is dedicated to teaching foreign languages through the lens of social justice with a project-based, communicative, and thematic approach. Her main goal is to stimulate students to build knowledge through practical and culturally inclusive content.
