The UNO Golden Circle is comprised of retired faculty and staff and university graduates age 65+. The group was formed at a reunion in 1984 honoring the class of 1934.

Today, members meet monthly, ten months of the year, for Golden Circle Lunch Bunches at the Thompson Alumni Center.

Join us with Joshua Kearney, Director of Bands, College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media, to learn about university advancements and socialize with fellow Maverick graduates and former UNO faculty and staff! Golden Circle Lunch Bunches are open to UNO alumni, retired UNO faculty and staff and guests.

Joshua Kearney is Assistant Professor and Director of Bands at UNO where he teaches courses in music education and conducting, conducts the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and oversees all aspects of the UNO band program. Kearney will provide updates on the program and share what’s ahead in the new year.
