Join us for the next Language for the Professions series event, German & International Diplomacy. Christopher Fuchs is German Deputy Consul General in Chicago where he focuses on science, business, and public affairs. Christopher Fuchs is German Deputy Consul General in Chicago where he focuses on science, business and public affairs. He has worked on Ukrainian and Western Balkans issues at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin and has served in German Embassies to Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Egypt and Azerbaijan. As a student, he read Slavic Studies and Philosophy at Berlin’s Freie and Humboldt Universities and at Moscow State University, followed by European Studies at the College of Europe in Warsaw-Natolin.
