The Fueling Futures: Student Support Summit is an event for the state of Nebraska to discuss what basic needs access and support could look like on college campuses.  Any and all students, faculty, and staff at any Nebraska campus, as well as community organizations and members, are invited to join this dialogue about how we can improve college students' basic needs as a state.

  • 10-10:15 A.M. - Welcome
  • 10:15-10:35 A.M. - Opening/Keynote Speaker
  • 10:35-10:50 A.M. - Legislative Action
  • 10:50 A.M. - Noon - Panel: What are students' basic needs?
  • Noon - 1 P.M. - Lunch (provided)
  • 1-2 P.M. - Break Out Sessions (Interpersonal Advocacy, Policy Engagement, Sustainability in Basic Needs, SNAP and WIC for Students, Serving ALL Students)
  • 2-2:15 P.M. - Self Care for Leaders (brain break)
  • 2:15-3:30 P.M. - Panel on Food Insecurity
  • 3:30-3:45 P.M. - Wrapping Up the Conversation
  • 3:45-4 P.M. - Closing Speaker & Call to Action
