Bring your book and snacks and read silently with other book lovers! No registration required. Sign in and find your space on the main floor of the library from 11:30 A.M. to Noon. Silent reading hour begins at noon and ends at 1 P.M. Hang around afterwards to chat about your book and meet new bookish friends.

Hot Weather Precautions

The Office of Spirit, Tradition, and Signature Events will take additional precautions during Durango Days events, including the following (while supplies last):

• All events that fall between Sunday-Wednesday will have plenty of cold drinks, specifically, water and Powerade
• Sunscreen will be available for students to spray on or take a packet with them
• Microfiber cooling towels will be available for students
• Hydration drink mix packets will be available at each event

Any changes to the Durango Days lineup will be shared on Spirit, Tradition, and Signature Events social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, and X.
