Spread out your picnic blanket, kick off your shoes, and relax as the sounds of opera embrace you. This FREE, family-friendly favorite features opera’s greatest hits sung by world-class artists. Arrive early for the interactive Kids Zone, performances from local community organizations, and the joy of opera filling the park.

The opera program will include selections composed by opera greats as well as others and features many familiar and new songs from the opera canon. Lawn chairs, blankets and refreshments are encouraged.

Students sign up here to attend and get an event bag from the Office of Spirit and Tradition. The bag will feature sunscreen, sunglasses, a cooling towel, and dinner and dessert voucher in Aksarben Village.

Durango Days (August 22-29)

Durango Days is UNO's official welcome week. It is hosted by the Office of Spirit, Tradition, and Signature Events.
