In this presentation, we will explore the AI Lab's resources and strategies designed to enhance both research and teaching. We'll discuss practical use cases and the potential of AI in educational settings, offering insights on how these tools can streamline processes and foster innovation. Whether you're involved in research, teaching, or preparing for a future academic role, this session will provide valuable knowledge on AI into your work.

 

About the speaker:

Cassie began her career in higher education as a Sociology instructor after earning her master's degree in 2015. Since joining the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) in 2021, she has been actively engaged in instructional design, focusing efforts on topics related to online course design, accessibility, and the implementation of generative AI.

"I am extremely happy to be leading the AI initiative at UNO. This role allows me to support our faculty and staff in a new capacity, having a broader impact on student success and workforce preparation. I am very passionate about helping students and preparing them for the workforce, and generative AI in our next step in making sure they’re ready for whatever comes next!"
