DESCRIPTION:The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Office of Engagement 
 and WhyArts will unveil Community Visions II\, the second phase of a colla
 borative mural at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center (CEC)\, on
  Friday\, July 25\, 2025\, from 6 to 8 P.M. The event is free and open to 
 the public.\n\n \n\nLed by UNO alumnus and teaching artist Hugo Zamorano\,
  the mural builds upon the legacy of the original 2014 Community Visions m
 ural. With two new pieces spanning 75 feet\, Community Visions II was crea
 ted through a service learning partnership with UNO art students from Jody
  Boyer’s ART 4020 class\, and shaped by community input\, including indi
 viduals with disabilities.\n\n \n\nThe project was made possible by suppor
 t from the Mid-America Arts Alliance\, the National Endowment for the Arts
 \, and the Nebraska Arts Council.\n\n \n\nMore than just a visual update\,
  Community Visions II embodies themes of collaboration and storytelling—
 celebrating the power of public art to connect students\, artists\, and th
