Retired Admiral John F. Kirby, who served as National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications from 2022-2025, and former Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, a UNO alumnus, will discuss the role of U.S. leadership in a changing world in the seventh annual event on April 2 at 7 P.M. CST.
Forum Format
This year’s forum will feature opening remarks by Kirby followed by a moderated discussion with Hagel. The discussion and Q&A will be moderated by Michelle Black, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Political Science at UNO and Co-Director for the University of Nebraska Deterrence Lab.
