"Incorporating AI-based assignments in marketing curriculum"
The speaker will be Dr. Birud Sindhav, Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
I will demo how a Principles of Marketing class assignment was done in a traditional way. Then, the same assignment is redesigned where students have to use AI tools to generate text and visuals.
I also designed a pedagogical study around this with Shannon Cummins and Yanhui Zhao as co-authors. We are working on the draft, but I should be able to share the preliminary results from the survey responses from the students. The variables of interest are improved output due to AI, effectiveness of the learning environment, satisfaction, and participation intention.
If unable to attend in person you can join virtually. Below is the zoom link.
