The Career Closet provides UNO students with FREE professional attire. All students are welcome to browse our collection of new and gently used clothes at Career Closet pop-up shop events.  

 

The Career Closet is made possible through generous donations from alumni and friends. Join us in helping future Forever Mavericks build their professional closet for interviews, career fairs, jobs and more.  

 

Career Closet Donation Drop-Off

Help us build the Career Closet!  Donate new or gently used business professional and business casual clothing to future Forever Mavericks at one of our upcoming donation drop-off events at the Thompson Alumni Center (6705 Dodge St.)

  • March 21 | 4:30 to 7:30 P.M. 
  • March 23 | 9 A.M. to Noon

 

Clothing Items Accepted

Pre-washed, ready-to-wear, business-professional or business-casual attire. Some examples include button-up shirts and blouses, pants, skirts, blazers, ties, socks, polos, jeans, dresses, jumpsuits, dress shoes and scrubs. 

 

NOTE: We are not able to provide donation receipts. 

 

Career Closet Pop-Up Shop at the Thompson Alumni Center

UNO students are invited to shop for three FREE new and gently used professional clothing items for interviews, internships, career fairs, jobs and more. A variety of sizes and styles are available to help you dress for success. This event is open to all UNO students and made possible through donations by UNO alumni and friends.  

  • April 16 from 9 A.M. to 7 P.M.
  • Free Parking
  • MavCARD required
