"Biomechanics and Osteoarthritis in the Population"
Presentation Abstract
Osteoarthritis is a leading cause of disability, affecting over 32 million Americans. Biomechanical factors play an important role in joint health and pain. To mitigate the public health problem of osteoarthritis, it is important to examine these relationships in populations. This presentation covers discussion of methods for collecting biomechanical measures in large cohorts and results from large studies of biomechanics and joint health.
