Join us on Thursday, September 22nd from 11:30am-1:30pm in the space across from the Osborne Family Gallery for a Banned Books read-out! This event will not have pre-registration, but readers are free to drop in and read during a 15 minute time space. 

Banned Books Week 2022 will be held September 18 – 24. The theme of this year’s event is “Books Unite Us. Censorship Divides Us." Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read. Banned Books Week was launched in 1982 in response to a sudden surge in the number of challenges to books in schools, bookstores and libraries. Typically held during the last week of September, it highlights the value of free and open access to information.
