As we incorporate AI into our research and instruction, it is important to consider the potential adverse consequences that could impact your work and the work of your students. As we attempt to guide students on how to appropriately use AI in our classrooms, we must first understand the full implications of that use. In creating the right prompt to achieve the desired outcome you may be inadvertently giving up your privacy and that of your students, and depending on the amount of AI that you use in your research you also could be giving up the rights to your work. In this workshop we delve into those potential pitfalls and come up with strategies that can help you avoid them.
This workshop will have a Zoom option in addition to the in person option. Click here to register for this workshop. Contact Isabel Soto-Luna or Omer Farooq with any questions.
