Drawing from his personal and professional experiences, Dr. De Alba will reflect on the transformative power of education to bridge cultures, foster meaningful connections, and empower individuals to contribute to their global community to protect their health. Inspired by the legacy of former UNO Professor and international educator Dr. Chuck Gildersleeve, this talk celebrates the role of curiosity, education, and collaboration in shaping a more compassionate and interconnected world.
