About this Event
All UNO students, staff, and faculty are welcome! We look forward to seeing you Wednesday, September 17th!
⛈️ If it rains, we'll be inside the MBSC Atrium. ⛈️
The annual study abroad fair is a campus-wide event for students to explore their many options for adding an international or U.S. study away component to their degree at UNO. Representatives from UNO's global partners, study abroad alumni, and faculty that offer Global Courses will all be present to meet with students and answer questions. From a semester in Alaska, a 2-week course in London, or a summer internship in South Africa- the study abroad fair is the perfect opportunity to learn more.
*2025*
In addition to tables throughout the plaza where you can speak to faculty leaders, exchange students, study abroad alumni and study abroad partners, this year's activities will include:
Omaha International Folk Dancers
Come learn about this unique organization and join in as they teach us a few dances throughout the day.
Show & Tell
Both our exchange students at UNO for the fall and our study abroad alumni will be hosting Show & Tell throughout the fair. Come see the special items that remind them of home (or their second home) and why you should consider their country for a study abroad.
Sip & Explore
Stop by between classes for a cold drink and sip while you explore the fair...who knows where your path may lead.
Imagine Yourself Traveling Abroad
Meet Anne Thomas, MBA Student

"Beneath a medieval church in Košice, Slovakia, Anne Thomas ducked through a narrow stone archway, and walked face-first into a spiderweb. She yelped, then burst into laughter, brushing off the strands before continuing down the steep steps. At the bottom lay a hidden crypt of dusty tombs, a secret slice of history few tourists ever see. It’s not where you’d expect to find an MBA student studying, but for Thomas., a UNO graduate student with a self-proclaimed travel bug, it was all part of a summer study abroad journey."
UNO is committed to maintaining a welcoming and accessible environment across all of its campuses and has developed information for the public and visitors. Visitors can contact and learn more about campus accessibility through the following links:
