UNO Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS), along with several student leaders passionate about mental health, is pleased to invite our campus to our Maverick Community Hope Walk (formerly the UNO Out of the Darkness Walk) for suicide prevention. This community event will take place on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 2:30pm-4:15pm. Please join us to hear the stories of strength, survival, and hope from speakers within our campus community and join us for a stroll around campus to raise awareness of the silent epidemic of suicide as well as ways to help stop it.  The Maverick Hope walk is free to attend and all are welcome. Invite your friends, family, and colleagues to join you in inpiring hope and support for our Maverick and Omaha community. RSVP is requested for this event through the UNO Events website.
