About the Fair

The University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Student Research and Creative Activity Fair (RCAF) is an annual, student-centered showcase of scholastic endeavors and achievements.

RCAF provides a venue for all undergraduate and graduate students to showcase their scholarly and/or creative activities in the form of:

• Oral presentations
• Poster presentations
• Exhibits
• Demonstrations
• Performances

All UNO students from all disciplines, departments, and degree levels, including engineering students from the UNL College of Engineering on the Scott Campus, are encouraged to present at the Fair.

Fair Schedule 

All events will take place at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center (CEC) unless otherwise noted. 

8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Check-In, Breakfast, and Start-Up Showcase

Morning Sessions 

• 9:00 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. Session 1 Oral and Poster Presentations
• 10:00 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. Session 2 Oral and Poster Presentations
• 11:00 a.m. -11:50 a.m. Session 3 Oral and Poster Presentations

Lunch Break

12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Lunch (CPACS 132)

After the Lunch Break

12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Keynote and Panel Presentation (CPACS 101)

Afternoon Sessions

• 1:30p.m. -2:20 p.m.  Session 4 Oral and Poster Presentations
• 2:30 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Session 5 Oral and Poster Presentations

Awards Ceremony

4:15 p.m. SPAC Concert Hall - cookies and light refreshments will be provided.
